Luis Cassiano Sanduba is an artist from Arará, North Zone of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Engaged both in Afrobrazilian cultural resistance and environmental activism in the favela, Sanduba produces video, music, radio, street art, theatre and cultural events and green roofs/ urban gardens.

Teto Verde Favela”/ “Green Roof Favela” is a video artwork by Luis Cassiano Sanduba, that is currently part of the exhibition “What did you do once you knew?”, curated by Agnese Sofija Kusmane. The artwork, together with other works by artists Gints Gabrāns (LV), Jörg Finus (DE) and Olga Drachuk-Meyer (UA, DE) were shown in mobile projections on walls around Marzahn, Lichtenberg, Reinickendorf, among other public venues in Berlin, Germany.
